Shoaib akhtar “Pindi Express” suggests as a new PSL

The former fast Ramy in Pakistan Shweib urged the Pakistani Cricket Council (PCB) to present a new privilege for the Pakistan Premier League (PINDI Express “to represent Rawalpindi, the city associated with its guidance.

Akhtar, known as “Rawalpindi Express” and the record holder of the fastest connection in the international cricket game, the call during a discussion about the continuous PSL season. He described the name of the concession as a natural greeting to both his career and cricket heritage in his hometown.

The Rawalpindi Cricket stadium appeared prominently in the last PSL seasons, hosted high -gradient competitions regularly and withdrawing large crowds. It is believed that the official concession representation is the next logical step.

The proposal comes amid an increasing expectation about the planned expansion PSL. Salman Nasser, the chief operational officer in the league, recently confirmed that the eleventh edition of the tournament – which was identified for the next year – may witness the inclusion of two new teams.

“By the end of this year, we may get two other teams,” said Naseer.

He added: “Now that we have succeeded in returning the cricket game to the traditional centers, the next step is expanding beyond these four cities – Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Moldine.”

PSL was launched in 2016 with five privileges and the sultans added in 2018. Calls for expansion continue with the increase in the momentum in the league at home and abroad.

A suggestion, if it is made, can represent Rawalbandi’s return to the lead center – this time with a privilege bearing its title and the identity of the city.
