Hassan Kings Bakr, Hassan Ali, admitted that the performance of the national team left the Pakistani cricket fans with disappointment, however, he expressed his hope that the next Pakistani league (PSL) would help the country’s cricket fever.

Speaking to the journalists in front of the first training session of the Karachi Kings before the tenth edition of the PSL, Hassan admitted that although the recent results of Pakistan were disappointing, new players in the team need time to settle.

Hassan said: “When the national team is not a good performance, it affects the concession championships like PSL.” “But when Pakistan gets well, a PSL fee also rises.”

Pakistan has been struggled in recent months, including a poor offer in the International Court Champions Cup at home and during the New Zealand tour.

However, Hassan’s new players supported, saying: “The current results are not great, but we have new faces in the team and also in management who need time. The players know where they have sinned and where they can be improved.”

PACER has affirmed experienced players in the upcoming championship to revive the passion of fans. “Our people love the cricket game, and the fans are very emotional. We will do our best to make them happy with our performance.”

PSL from PSL this year remained with the Indian Premier League (IPL), but Hassan remained optimistic, saying: “Fans watch the championship as there is a good cricket game with entertainment. If we play well in PSL, the IPL viewers will leave to watch us.”

He highlighted the role of the league in sponsoring young talents, describing it as a “big platform” for emerging players to share the dressing rooms with the best stars. “PSL performance attracts the attention of the determinants and management – no doubt.”

Hassan, who had a strong return in the local cricket game earlier, pledged to keep his shape. “I have done a good job recently in the T20 National Cup and I will try to keep this momentum. This PSL is important for me as I aim to return to the national team and Karachi Kings, we will do our best to return Karachi Cricket fans to the field.

PSL starts in 11th this month, as Karachi Kings is scheduled to play their first match in twelfth place against Sultans.
